At 9pm today (Sunday) the 200th person signed Graham’s petition to get rid of the Local Government Ombudsmen. Please keep signing so we can put even more pressure on the Government to get rid of the LGO. You only have another 5 days in which to sign the petition.

Totally biased in favour of Councils. Waste of time and effort to report wrongdoing to them as, if in THEIR OPINION you have not suffered an injustice, then it’s ‘business as usual’ for maladministration et al.
I couldn’t agree more. Our neighbours opposite applied to extend their property way, way past their official LR boundary and in doing so obstruct 3 metres of the legal “right to pass” on our title deeds.
The crooked, corrupt Council assisted them in every way, such as offering them free legal advice as regards our objection. Advising the neighbours to change from “planning permission” to “planning developement ” so that the Council could not refuse the application. Copying a Land Registry stamp mark onto a totally false plan to make it appear it was approved by the Land Registry. When the LGO requested a 1:500 scale plan from the Council to overlay with our 1:500 deed plan, the Council purposely drew a false plan showing the two properties much further apart than what the actually were. They then submitted it to the LGO as an APPROXIMATE SURVEY, when clearly it was nowhere near approximate. The LGO believed the lies and BS fed to her by the LC instead of the factual evidence I sent her. It is therefore obvious the LGO is as bent and corrupt as the Councils which they are supposed to oversee. More bent than a wire coathanger.
Complaint against Braintree District Council for failure to keep promises and intentions. LGO would not investigate and condoned BDC breaking their promises and intentions.
Tony Redmond will not reply to e-mails or letters, does he exist?
They are not impartial and should be disbanded as they support local council’s
We are still suffering from Braintree’s District Council’s incompetence of over a year ago with cars parked in our close encouraged there by BDC
They made all sorts of promises and intentions to placate the residents but kept none of them
Doug Thorpe thinks its OK for BDC to break promises and Tony Redmond remains silent
