Letter to the Sir Gus O’Donnell, 6th December 2009
Dear Sir Gus O’DonnellWe write again re our rights being abused by corrupt civil servants, you did not reply to our letter 6th March 2009, 8 months later we thought we would try again.
Whistleblowers describing corrupt governmental procedures should not be ignored by mandarins, that’s why the BNP are getting votes! Our aim is to disclose even further public sector corruption that we come up against.
Having been a front line soldier, being a victim of corrupt civil servants becomes excessively painful. Being a witness to sacred dead soldier’s ‘poppy’ hype-snap-shots by contemptuous politicians is even more painful. The nation is waking up to the fact that soldiers should not die to protect corruption within the public sector!
Our original corruptors, the RevenueVOA, despite our 6 years protestations have continued to damage good governance by its corrupt maladministration.
The gross ineptitude of this agency can be seen as millions of households are paying more council tax than they need.
Recently MPs held a meeting in Westminster Hall to debate ‘monstrous injustices’ by the VOA in relation to its Ports Businesses maladministration. MPs claimed a ‘lamentable litany of failure by the VOA’.
That the ‘VOAs attitude being negligent in the extreme, every rule was breached and the VOA compounded the errors.’ The VOA Executive grovelling apology was described by one MP as being “In the league of mealy-mouthed statements that makes Pontious Pilates hand-washing, an act of generosity and decency".
A member of the House of Lords, in a VOA debate described this seriously inept mealy-mouthed mandarin’s actions as a “Cataclysmic series of error and mistakes!”
Yet this monstrous maladministrator, to the public’s consternation, was astonishingly appointed by the Treasury as the new Managing Director, Public Services and Growth Directorate! This ‘old pals act’ promotion of someone who is clearly ‘bureaucratically incompetent’ is pure Treasury decadence going against the spirit and moral aspirations of the nations desire for much needed ‘good government’.
Civil servants are escaping the sack because of the unsavoury self-protective job-for-life culture that protects all Whitehall bunglers. This only produces a sub-culture, a ground swell of disruptive incompetence not suitable for good governance.
Such continued Government and Treasury fraud and corruption shows why the UK is struggling to recover from last years all time low within the worlds Corruption Perception Index!
This RevenueVOA screw-up that would have caused ‘blood bath’ sackings in the private sector have led to a mouth-watering Treasury promotion of a useless mandarin who had helped to preserve the VOA cesspool that had corruptly handled our complaints and abused our human rights!
This inept mealy-mouthed civil servant Andrew Hudson failure, was compounded by a Treasury official who deceitfully claimed that Hudson had ‘a proven track record on delivery?’ Corruption within the public sector is never ending!
On the 18 Jan 2005, I wrote to the dysfunctional Hudson pointing out that I had been waiting some 7 weeks for an answer from him re my critical analyses of the VOAs corrupt handling of our appeal!
Because of our continued frustration at this seriously dysfunctional VOA, I was forced to describe the amount of effort, that as its victims, we were put to; on the 27th April 2005 I wrote; ‘This is the problem when dealing with a government cover-up culture, where the old boy network, the pulling of strings and chicanery flows like a well oiled piece of machinery. It churns out well-honed deceit so effortlessly that it becomes an art form in itself. Every VOA cog is geared towards self-protection. I find it so sad that your blinkered citadel of squalid manoeuvring should be so entrenched within the VOA culture.’ (a Cataclysmic series of errors and mistakes)
In a letter showing our frustration re lack of FOI activity, (It took us 2 years to get to a flawed Decision Notice) we wrote to the ICO; ‘In all our dealings with this agency (VOA) there is nothing to suggest it has a font of wisdom, or up-front honesty that one might draw upon.’
On instructions from the Information Commissioners Office, we wrote to the VOA Executive, 24th May 2006, asking for information re our case; it was not until 14 months later July 2007, that we got a reply from these excessive maladministrators. (a Cataclysmic series of errors and mistakes)
It is from such atrocious public sector contempt, and stench-ridden ‘old pals act’ effrontery, that helps destroy all public faith and aspirations that good government is ever attainable! This contempt against the public interest was how the French Revolution emerged – the present day stench from the entrenched civil service cover-up manure heap is now nurturing the BNP.
Public sector corruption is public enemy No 1, because Sir Gus, your intransigence and stupefying contempt in claiming, that if you break open a civil servant you will find Honesty, Objectivity, Integrity, and Impartiality. This propaganda simply does not square with the publics knowledge re corrupt civil servants, the MOD put our troops in danger; the Home Office, forever unfit for purpose with false facts and figures, or the contemptuous RPA civil servants etc, and virtually every other government dept.
The many who are aware of public sector incompetence and corruption, will realise that your Cabinet Office and the departments that we have exposed will close ranks, giving protection to the suffocating crooked parliamentary system of retaliation that destroyed the efforts of the whistleblower Elisabeth Filkin.
From an old vet who watched with anger at our political leaders blatant photographic ‘hype’ amongst dead soldiers poppies; one realises that uncaring party hack politicians and mandarins are responsible for Whitehall and Westminster’s continuing squalid betrayal of good governance.
