Letter to the Prime Minister, 6th June 2009

Dear Prime Minister

Please find enclosed letter to Rt Hon Bob Ainsworth, (4/6/09) who I now learn whilst writing, has been promoted to top man in MOD?

I hope that you can understand my annoyance and disgust at the continuing failure re the lot of British troops in general, due to the historical bungling within the MOD.

There is much mistrust re your visit to France for the D-Day anniversary; the nation sees this as no more than a political stunt. Even old vets during your attendance in France voiced their scorn at ‘politicians trying to make capital’ out of this sorrowful remembrance of dead soldiers. MPs have failed-up on ‘dead soldiers’ hard won democracy!

How can you show concern re our dead in France when the stupidity of MODs procurement disabilities have stared government in the face for years, yet it still goes on? All political parties have failed to bring the discredited MOD to task, politicians have screwed up and largely destroyed democratic government with party-hack quangos and deceitful regulators.

Whilst troops died for freedom and democracy; none would have willingly died for the corruption of parliament as seen in the recent MPs expenses fiasco etc.

None would have willingly died for ‘party-hack’ politics that we have today, where you and Tony Blair stitched up the sharing of the PMs job without any consideration for the electorate. Its quite possible the Cabinet might appoint another Prime Minister leaving the people who matter most, the electorate, out in the cold yet again?

We did not fight for this ‘old pals act’ system of government, the electorate have so easily been discounted in this political power game; where the most incompetent party-hack MPs are often promoted to Ministerial level.

I once more appeal; you show some concern re my case, where I having complained about being corruptly handled by the dysfunctional Revenue/VOA, eventually faced Revenue barristers and lawyers in a Tribunal? Then received from Richard Thomas’s office a dodgy Decision Notice that covered up for the Revenue/VOA.

A broken society indeed, the thought of betrayed dead soldier’s spurns me on to reveal all political corruption I come up against

You would have been shocked if the dead in France were able to speak out about today’s political corruption. You and your colleagues should show more concern re properly equiping our troops who are still alive, instead of trying to make capital out of dead heroes! There are enough problems to sort out within the moronic MOD that consistently fails British troops.

From an old vet corruptly handled for disclosing corrupt acts by a ‘protected’ government dept.

AW & I Tanner cc to all interested in political corruption
